Helping Boston Homeowners Reclaim Their Homes From Unwanted Pests
Carpenter ants, termites, ticks, mosquitoes, hornets, wasps, and a whole backyard of invading insects are lurking right outside your door. Or are they? Do you hear a scratching sound in your ceiling? Have you found droppings in your cupboards or pantry? Are there ants in your dishwasher? Can you enjoy your back deck at dusk? Do the kids or the dog pick up ticks when they are in your yard? Maybe the creatures from the backyard have already found their way inside. If you need to get these pests out of your home, or if you just want to make sure they never get in, General Environmental Services has a customized pest control program for you and your Boston area home.
Our Services
-
InspectionOne of our trained and experienced supervisors or inspectors will visit your home to perform an inspection. During this visit, we’ll look for conducive conditions and evidence of pests and pest activity. We will then go over our plans and prices with you so you can decide if you’d like to proceed with our treatment plan.
-
TreatmentsDuring our treatment of your home, we’ll focus on the areas where pests were seen the most during our inspection. We’ll also treat around plumbing fixtures, areas with water, and hiding spots. We use a variety of treatment methods, including fogging, trapping, and baiting. Our treatment also includes checking the exterior of your house for openings and entry points.
-
Follow-UpOur Home Protection Plan is the follow-up treatment plan we offer for customers who want ongoing services to keep their home pest-free. This service includes three treatments within the year that cover a variety of pests. If a pest problem occurs between regularly scheduled services, call us and we’ll return to your home to re-service it at no additional cost.
Our Home Pest Control
General Environmental Services is a registered GreenPro company. This gives us access to the latest, most effective, and least toxic techniques available to solve your pest problems. The cornerstone of our “green services” is based upon the principle of Integrated Pest Management or IPM. Imagine life as a three-legged stool. One leg is food, another is water, and the third is shelter. If you can remove one of the legs from the stool, it collapses. We use IPM to remove a stool leg for pests. In some instances, removing a pest population’s food, water, or shelter is not possible. When that is the case, there are botanical products that can be used to help safely encourage the pests to move on or expire.
We are committed to our residential customers’ well-being and safety. Your home is your castle and we view ourselves as its defense against invading armies of termites, ants, yellow jackets, ticks, mosquitoes, and more. We’ll begin by inspecting your home to look for pest activity, conducive conditions, and evidence of pests. Once complete, we’ll go over our service plan options and price points, so you can choose the service that’s right for you.
If you choose to proceed, we’ll return to your home to conduct our first service. During this visit, we focus most on the areas where pest activity was found to ensure full elimination of your pest problems. We use a variety of treatment methods, depending on your home’s unique needs.
Our Home Protection Plan is a recurring service that is designed to protect your home all year long. It includes three yearly visits and covers mice, ants, roaches, spiders, and crawling insects. If any issues come up between the dates of our treatments, simply give us a call and we’ll return to your home to re-service it at no additional charge.
